Getting There
Traveling to Saturna Island requires some forward planning. BC Ferries operates a regularly scheduled ferry service to Saturna Island from Vancouver (the Tsawwassen terminal) and Victoria (the Swartz Bay terminal). Generally, you can get to and from Vancouver 3 times a day, as well as to and from Victoria 3 or 4 times a day via the BC Ferries. The people at BC Ferries are very helpful and will tell you when you need to make a reservation and when you don't. However, sometimes the ferry schedule does not list all the Tsawwassen to Saturna via Swartz Bay possibilities under the Tsawwassen to Saturna heading, so pay special attention to this.
